Exciting Update to Your Health Benefits – Effective July 1, 2025!
We’re thrilled to announce a new enhancement to your health benefits that makes accessing care easier and more affordable. Starting July 1, 2025, VNA employees enrolled in the PPO or EPO/HRA plans will be able to visit RWJBarnabas Health physicians with no copay!

Why is this happening?
VNA and RWJBH have a longstanding relationship, and we’ve heard your feedback about wanting to access RWJBarnabas Health providers with the same benefits their employees enjoy. This change reflects our commitment to supporting your health and well-being.
Do I need to do anything special?
No! United has reprogrammed the plans to automatically waive the copay when you see an RWJBarnabas Health physician. Simply schedule your appointment and enjoy the benefit—no extra steps required.

What about the Surest plan?
The Surest plan already assigns custom copays to different providers, so it will continue to operate as it does today.
