The High Deductible Health Plan with Health Savings Account (HSA) offers in- and out-of-network coverage. It comes with an HSA administered by Cigna. An HSA is an account that allows you to save money tax-free for medical expenses such as doctor visits, prescriptions, your deductible, and more. It’s important to note that you will have higher costs when you use healthcare in this plan. Some advantages of an HSA include:
-
Contributions are tax-free, withdrawals for qualified medical expenses are also tax-free, and any investments in the account grow tax-free
-
You own the account and the money rolls over year after year
-
You can take the HSA funds with you if you leave VNA
-

-
The Traditional PPO Plan has a deductible, copays, and coinsurance. This plan also offers out-of-network coverage, and there is no separate out-of-pocket maximum for prescriptions.
